I have created the whole 3d object with ZBrush and the texture was created in Substance Painter. I rendered the Project with Redshift Renderer in Cinema 4D. The goal of the project was to go through all stages of a character creation process.
(Zbrush: blocking, modeling, creation of a high and a low resolution map, posing.
Substance Painter: baking the maps, creating the textures.
Cinema 4D & Photoshop: lightning, combining, composing for the still image)
Skullboy is a personal project. The goal was to create a lowpoly game asset in "clash of clans" style. I made the highpoly model in ZBrush, the retopology and the uvs in Maya and the texturing in Substance Painter. It is a Unity Engine ready Asset. The whole project (concept, highpoly, retopology, uv unwrapping, baking the highpoly on the lowpolymesh, texturing, creating a unity asset) took me 14 hours.
