Stylized Rhino – Creature Design
This stylized rhino was created as part of a personal training project, with the goal of designing a believable creature suitable for use in a stylized game or animated film.
The entire model was sculpted from scratch in ZBrush, with a focus on anatomy and form while maintaining a hand-painted, stylized aesthetic.
I handled retopology and UV mapping in Maya. Texturing was done in Substance Painter, where I focused on painterly details and color variation to enhance the character’s personality. Final presentation and rendering were done in Marmoset Toolbag.
This project helped me refine my creature workflow and explore the balance between stylization and realism.
